Great great Jacket

It is exactly what I wanted. Great leather and great wool, so good that i ordered one also for my wife today.
Truly recommended to all enthusiasts of this great legend of a flight jacket and also not enthusiasts.

Lovely Jacket

I bought an 5xl through ebay from this seller :) paid £349.00 on sunday and the jacket came tuesday :) i've weighed it, its 2.6kg, cant wait for the colder months :) if you get one, you'll not be disappointed, 100% satisfied customer :)

Big surprise

This is my second attempt at writing a review; first one didn't seem to 'take'.

Before I get to specifics, I have to say I was really very surprised, shocked even, by the high quality of this coat. The construction seems flawless, the material is beautiful and it looks just like the photograph, which is always a worry when you're buying online. I wore it to work first time today and had a run a gauntlet of compliments directed at the coat.

Size-wise, I am 6 feet tall and 190 lbs, with a 43" chest. I usually take a Large jacket, sometimes even Extra Large, but Brandslock suggested I would be better off in a Medium and they were spot on. The fit is perfect, not snug but not too bulky either. I would definitely recommend you consult with the Brandslock folks to help you select the right size.

I wanted to mention a couple of particular things that aren't apparent from the ad. First I was concerned that the cuff zippers might not have windflaps inside (some cheaper RAF style coats don't have them). But this one does. Second, unlike any other similar jacket I've seen, this one has outer pockets that are ingeniously fashioned so as to create 2 inside pockets where you can stash a cell phone or even a wallet leaving the outside empty for hand warming. Nice touch. As an aside the pockets are constructed also in a way that keeps them from bulking out the bottom of the coat too much. Some RAF shearlings look like they're hiding a spare tire, but not this one.

Third the collar does stay up when you flip it, again, nice.

Fourth, the description says it's a B3 coat but that's not quite right - this is patterned on the WWII RAF Irvin Jacket; the B3 was the similar but differently styled US Air Force equivalent.

Finally, if you're curious, the label inside says it's made in Uruguay. Wherever it's made they did a really, really nice job.

Beautiful Jacket!

My jacket arrived today (took about a week to Canada). Truly beautiful, I was relieve to find that it looks just like the picture (I always get nervous buying online). The quality of the sheepskin, the stitching and the finish all seem top rate,

As for sizing, I am 6 feet tall and 190 lbs with a 43 chest. Brandslock recommended the Medium for me and the fit is perfect, plenty of room but not baggy. So be aware these may run larger than you're used to (I usually take a Large). A few other points of interest - the cuffs have a nice windflap inside the zipper that can't be seen in the photos. Also the advertisement says B3 but that's not really right - this is a fairly faithful copy of the RAF Irvin jacket, with the addition of pockets (The B3 was the US air force equivalent during the war, but a somewhat different style). The label indicates that it is made in Uraguay.

Beautiful

Received this yesterday and it's beautiful. Very simple design, everything is put together very well. The topstitching is on point, the leather feels lovely and the zips are solid.

Originally I ordered a size too big and thought it was "ok" looking. After returning it for a size lower, it looks amazing. Thank you!

Excellent quality & fantastic service

I have been looking for years for a leather flying jacket for my husband and thanks to Khan at Brandslock my husband is now a very happy man. The jacket is superb quality, looks stylish and more importantly is made well and looks like it will last for years. It arrived this morning and is an early special birthday present. Flying success: Ordered on Monday morning and the coat arrived Tuesday teatime. I'm 5' 6" tall and take a 42" suit jacket size. I ordered the small which is a 40" chest with a 24" sleeve. Perfect fit. Very happy with the coat. Roll on winter.

Lovely quality: Lovely quality coat, can't fault it

Great Flying Jacket: Fantastic jacket. They are quiet large, having ordered a 42" it was a little large, it was exchanged for a 40"without any problem and the seller was very helpful. It arrived on schedule. Superb quality product.

Awesome Jackect

Warm and comfortable if a little heavy. Just what I hoped it would be.

Excellent: Very pleased with my purchase. Brandslock went out of their way to ensure I had the correct size and delivery couldn't have been faster. Would recommend both the jacket and the supplier.

It might be Moderately large but I love it, I do like garmens of this type to be larger.

Good quality flying jacket: Good quality flying jacket, reasonably authentic apart from the pockets which are a practical departure from the original design.

love: very warm jacket with thick fleece..love it
